The pace has calmed down a little bit on site now that we are "waterproof". Mr B is only working part time on site as he gets to spend quality time with his sons while Mrs B is working.
The decking roof, the chimney and finishing layer to the plinth are latest developments. And there's always time for ice cream :-)
wow, wow, wow! Well it sure looks like you're not missing us one teeny bit here. The house looks great. Delighted to hear that Cyril is getting to spend so much time with the boys. Chances like this don't come round too often so embrace. xx

We have a lovely, lovely reminder hanging in the playroom wall :-) A little setback on the building front (see my latest update) but otherwise all well and we are enjoying the summer. Mind you weather is nowhere near as nice as in the last few years while we have been here on holidays but it's good compared to Ireland. How was France this year??? X
